Feb 26, 2016 from Fr. David (Oratory of St. Luke the Physician) in Wales!

Good morning, on this bright, crispy and frosty day here in Wales.
Though the frost is laying on the ground, the trees and plants, the fresh crisp air air and views around us are so welcoming as they begin a new spring season. As one season exits another enters.
Very much like our own lives using a revolving door system. Leaving our homes exiting through the front door returning and entering through the rear door. It is the same house yet we use a different door giving us a different view!. So it is with the seasons. My analogy may be slightly warped....but you get my meaning hopefully!

Our wonderful planet earth and yet where one season ends, another starts and so it goes on in a forever revolving cycle.

For me it is refreshing to know that new and fresh plants, trees, young birds and animals appear every year and enhances our world immensely. The paragraph in Mathew 6:34 which informs us not to worry is so appropriate in today's world; with so much wonderful creations of nature going on around us it is difficult to keep abreast of such happenings. Presently outside our home the birds are singing and chirping away quiet happily, the elderly neighbour displaying a smile as she feeds the birds with daily bread crumbs and seeds. As they all swoop down on time to greet her and offer her their presence with a welcoming chorus singing in tune and offering her their thanks.

So may I take this opportunity on this bright and fresh morning to wish you all a very good day, and that we and all our family and friends will all stay blessed, cheerful and happy.
With all blessings,
Fr David & Anne

Matthew 6:34
"So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today.

I don’t know about you but I confess that I sometimes feel so overwhelmed with things I feel I HAVE to do. It gets so bad that I end up doing none of them, I was that overwhelmed.

The antidote is to follow the advice of the text above and draw a line under the day, shut everything down and say that’s that for today, time to unwind.

Do you have a demarcation between yesterday and tomorrow. Make tomorrow a brand new day and yesterday history. Let today only account for what can be achieved today.

Lord grant us your peace in the times when we feel overwhelmed with things. Let the knowledge of your presence remove every worry and give us calm. In Jesus name Amen.

Remain Blessed.
